Why is it risky?
SSRIs are sometimes prescribed to cats at carefully calculated veterinary doses, but a human tablet is far stronger. Accidental ingestion of a whole pill causes an excess of serotonin in the nervous system.

Symptoms
Agitation, vocalizing, dilated pupils, tremors, elevated heart rate, hyperthermia; seizures in severe cases.
What To Do
Contact a vet or ASPCA Poison Control immediately, even if the cat looks fine. Do not induce vomiting without guidance.
Notes
Never give a cat a human antidepressant without an explicit veterinary prescription and dose calculated for its weight.
