with 5+ years of experience in animal behavior and welfare.
Every entry in this database is personally researched and
verified against trusted sources including the ASPCA Animal
Poison Control Center, International Cat Care, and peer-reviewed
veterinary journals. No guessing, no clickbait.
My goal is simple: give cat owners and future cat owners one
reliable place to check.

Every item on SafeCatBase is cross-referenced with at least
