Why is it risky?
Like Pothos and Dieffenbachia, Philodendron contains insoluble calcium oxalate crystals that cause oral irritation on contact.

Symptoms
Drooling, pawing at the mouth, oral pain and swelling, vomiting, difficulty swallowing.
What To Do
Rinse the mouth with water if safe to do so and monitor. Call a vet if swelling affects breathing or symptoms are severe.

Same family and same toxic mechanism as Pothos and Dieffenbachia.
