Why is it risky?
Floss is a linear foreign body risk, a string-like material that can anchor around the base of the tongue or in the stomach while the rest travels through the intestines, causing a "bunching" or sawing injury. This is a genuinely dangerous mechanism, distinct from ordinary choking.

What To Do
