Why is it risky?
Cats lack sufficient glucuronyl transferase to metabolize NSAIDs like ibuprofen, making them far more sensitive to toxicity than humans or even dogs. Even a single standard human dose can be dangerous.

Symptoms
Vomiting (sometimes with blood), loss of appetite, lethargy, black tarry stools, abdominal pain, incoordination, seizures in severe cases.
What To Do
Treat as an emergency regardless of dose. Contact a vet or emergency clinic immediately.
