Why is it risky?
Cats lack the liver enzymes needed to safely metabolize NSAIDs. Naproxen has a longer half-life than ibuprofen, meaning it stays toxic in the cat's system longer.

Digestive · Kidneys
Symptoms
Vomiting (sometimes with blood), loss of appetite, black tarry stools, lethargy, increased thirst and urination.
What To Do
Emergency vet immediately, don't wait for symptoms to appear.
Notes
Same toxic family as ibuprofen but with a longer, more dangerous duration of action.
